Telugu weddings, Ugadi, Sankranti and Akshaya Tritiya are the busiest buying times. Before you pay, ask to see the weighing on a digital scale with the reading in view, and check that it shows zero before the piece is placed. The weight on the bill should match the reading, and the same care applies when your old gold is weighed at the time of an exchange.
Request a callback and the GoldCash team will explain testing, valuation and the nearest service option for your area. Your gold is valued at the day's rate, and the working is shown to you before you decide.
The cards at the top show the live price per gram for 24K, 22K and 18K gold, with the time of the last update.
Ugadi, Sankranti, Akshaya Tritiya, Dhanteras and the wedding season. Shops are busier then, so it helps to compare quotes and book large orders early.
Ask for the piece to be weighed on a digital scale where you can see the reading, and check that the scale shows zero first. The weight on the bill should match the reading.
The base rate is very close across the state. Small gaps can come from local costs and jeweller premiums, so compare the final bill and not only the rate.
Request a callback with GoldCash. Your gold is tested for purity and weighed, and the value is worked out at the day's rate. Carry a valid photo ID.
